Wenders serves Bausch's work beautifully, and with great sensitivity to the colours of the dancers' costumes, the texture of their skin and the surfaces upon which they move, and the ambient sounds of the panting of the dancers, the splashing of water, the clatter of those chairs getting hurled across the stage.
